Last night, our worship leader mentioned something that really got me thinking.

We Worship so we can encounter God!

Once we start to comprehend this statement, life starts to get a new meaning.

Traditionally we have the viewpoint that worship, is the singing of songs before, during and sometimes after a church sermon, or at worship events, where we sing, but think about this statement for a while…

Some people encounter God by doing the dishes, and thus blessing their partner by doing it, or you encounter God by jogging every morning.

In this way, your life becomes an act of worship.

Think about it, and start to implement it. Your life WILL be changed.

Yesterday morning during worship at church, I finally gave everything to God.

I have given my life to Him a long time ago, but I finally gave all the comfortable things to Him. I have had this urgency in me the last couple of weeks to either go on a mission trip or something, to really go and give something back to the people out there, and yesterday in church I just really felt pushed to give everything to God in this matter, as the only thing keeping me from going, is my sense of responsibility.

I really want to ask each and every one of you reading this, to please pray for me on this, so that I will get the opportunity to go on the right mission trip, that God wants me to go on, and for me to just get some clarity on all this.

But the time is coming-it has, in fact, come-when what you’re called will not matter and where you go to worship will not matter.

worshipOK, so this is a post that has been brewing inside of me for quite some time, as this is a topic very close to my heart, but I did not know what to say about the topic.

This is a challenge that God has placed on my life, to worship Him through everything that I do, and boy, is it hard.

I find though that people have very different views on what worship is, and what it should be, so let us have a bit of a discussion around this.

Please place a comment as to what you see and experience worship to be, as it would be great to be able to get a bit of overview as the opinions and experiences out there.
