Sometimes life simply happens, and those times, it feels like everything is out of control, and you simply do not know how you are going to make it through it.
Firstly I need to say sorry for being missing in action last week, but my son ended up in hospital, and that is one of those things life throws your way, than you need to cope with.
How often do we ask God to use us as He wishes?
Consider the following statement made by Mike Foster.
God will not use you. God’s only capacity is to love you.
As I am reading through the book of Acts, it simply hits me again how the Apostles and the leaders of the early church was persecuted. and they were happy about it.
40 They called the apostles in, had them whipped, and ordered them never again to speak in the name of Jesus; and then they set them free. 41 As the apostles left the Council, they were happy, because God had considered them worthy to suffer disgrace for the sake of Jesus.

What has happened to the quality of perseverance in our culture?
Why have we started to place such a low value on perseverance?
Life has become so fast, that we simply cannot persevere anymore, or we might fall behind the rest of the pack.
I have experienced perseverance during the weekend in two very different ways, and I can simply say, that it is highly rewarding when you actually persevere and see the results of your perseverance.
