Crying rocks?
Have you ever considered how eerie that will be? Imagine yourself walking down the street, when all of a sudden the rocks around you start to scream the name of Jesus.
Hopefully however we will never get to that point, since we are now living in a free world (well, mostly) and people are not trying to stop us from praising the Lord.
OK, so this is a repost of some sorts. Since the first time I wrote the post, The Moka Effect, this theme has stuck in my head. Heck, I have even dreamed of writing a book about this analogy, and I am still planning on writing that book, as soon as I get the guts to actually start doing it.
In any case, I want to simply repost the gist of it for you guys here.
…I have come to believe that we are never going to be the movement Jesus wants unless we first get the issues of discipleship right. This is because the health and growth of transformative Jesus movements are directly related to their capacity to make disciples. No disciples, no movement – it’s that simple.

So, the core of my journey at present it this.
We didn’t give ourselves the personalities, talents, or longings we were born with. When we fulfil these – these gifts from beyond ourselves – it is like fulfilling something we were meant to do… the Creator of all things knows the name of each of us – knows thoroughly, better than we do ourselves, what is in us, for He put it there and intends for us to do something with it – something that meshes with His intentions for many other people… even if we do not always think of it that way, each of us was given a calling – by fate, by chance, by destiny, by God. Those who are lucky have found it.
