Please pray for Arno who has been battling with cancer for the last 8 months. During his last visit to the doctor he was told that they cannot help him any more. They are trusting the Lord for healing, but emotionally it’s very tough on him and his wife.

OK, the Lord put it on my heart this morning to start a scripture of the day on this here blog of mine. Hope it will mean something to you lot out there
Psalms 86:11 (The Message)
Train me, GOD, to walk straight;
then I’ll follow your true path.
Put me together, one heart and mind;
then, undivided, I’ll worship in joyful fear.

Urgent prayer needed…

Would you all please pray with earnest for the following family…
The mom has given birth to a baby girl yesterday, 07 July 2009, but was told today that she has a kidney disease that is deadly.
This family has already lost a baby boy at one month old, due to this same disease, and they need a miracle from our Father, as nobody deserves to go through this twice.
Can we maybe all pray here on Unsafe Challenge for a miracle
Dear Father
You are almighty and good, and we trust in you to come to this families aid today, and to please remove this disease from this day old baby girl, in order for her to be a living testimony to you awesome power and love.
We praise you for who you are and for the love you have for us, as a sinful nation.
Glory be to You
Amen
christian music vs secular music
I had a conversation with a friend yesterday, and followed jackalopekid’s twitter updates on this as well, and this really got me thinking.
Should Christians only listen to Christian music, or not?
My personal view on this is NO.
Why I say so, is that there are plenty of ‘Christian’ artists that do not promote their music as Christian music. Examples of these are Lifehouse, and Niemand (for the South Africans). These artists believe their music must be a ministry, and by only performing as Christian musicians they will, in general, only reach people that is already saved.
Now, I personally do mainly listen to Christian music myself, but I do listen to plenty of secular music as well, and really enjoy it. As a musician I get inspired by bands like Dave Matthews Band and the likes, and would probably always have them in my collection, even though worship music is now at the top end of my playlist.
What is your view on this, as I think this is a great topic to debate…
